Outlines Spring 2011 Blog Hop!

Outlines Spring 2011 Blog Hop!

Welcome to our very first blog hop! We are thrilled to be showing off some brand NEW stamps and designs today! This is a newly designed line of images named "Serendipity" and they just scream to be colored! The Design Team each picked a favorite image and we all are sharing something different. To celebrate this new release we are giving away two $25 Gift Certificates to the Outlines store!

For my card, I selected the Easter Birdies (I-1152) image because whenever I see a bird's nest with eggs, I think robin's egg blue, which is one of my favorite colors!   Oh, this was a fun image to color!!  I wanted to color the flowers in the image like the gorgeous pink dogwoods we have blooming all over our area right now.  The October Afternoon background paper from the Ducks in a Row collection matched the flowers perfectly, although I have covered most of it up!

Here's how to win:

Please visit each blog and leave a comment for each designer.
Comments need to be completed by 8PM on Sunday, April 17th.
Two random winners will be selected from folks that left comments on all the blogs.
Winners will be announced on the Outlines Blog on Monday, April 18th.

Now…where and who to visit:

  6. I love your Spring Theme! We have our own little birds nest . . . doves have hatched their first pair of babies and are getting ready to lay more eggs ~ it's been so much fun to watch!
Anyway ~ it's obvious that your card speaks to me ~ there is no better way to show off Spring than with birds, a nest, eggs and dogwood blossoms! You got it 'spot on!'

  56. The background paper, not only in color matches, but the shape of the design matches the dogwood flowers in the stamped image. It makes the card look a whole lot better with this particular background paper instead of a plain paper in the background. Wonderful!
