Outlines - Butterflies!
Happy Monday! This week's Outlines Design Team challenge is Butterflies. Outlines has a lot of wonderful butterfly images and for my card I chose this Large Flutterfly (H-61) image and paired it with the Take Time (AA-856) sentiment from the Tiny Words collection. The butterfly was stamped on vellum using Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I colored the image on the back side of the vellum using Copic markers. The patterned papers are from Jillibean Soup's Blossom Soup 6x6 pad. The charm is from Pink Paislee's Butterfly Garden collection.
Please be sure to stop by the rest of the Outlines' Design Team members' blogs to see the Butterfly cards they have created:

RI SOTW - Child with Wagon
This week's stamp of the week at Repeat Impressions is this sweet Child with Wagon (4506-I) image. I colored it with plain old colored pencils and Gamsol, cut it out and popped it up on this Websters' Pages paper from the WonderFall collection. The sentiment journaling tag is also from Webster's Pages.
Please make your way over to The House That Stamps Built to check out the cards the rest of the design team made using the Child with Wagon image. While you are there, you can read about our newest design team member, who just happens to be one of my 'real life' friends from my Krafty Kat group! Outlines - Happy Birthday!
Warning - put your sunglasses on for this one! This week's Outlines design team challenge is to make a birthday card. And what a coincidence that today happens to be our fearless design team leader's birthday! Happy Birthday, Jenny, this one's for you!
Since Jenny is not fond of pink, I used as much pink as possible...that's what friends are for, right? My papers are from Jillibean Soup's Blossom Soup 6x6 pad. The stamps I used are Candles Square Large (E-401), Split Layering Collage-Meow (H-937) and Friends fur-ever (B-1080). I colored the images with Copic markers and added some Copper Pearl Pen accents.
Please be sure to visit the rest of the design team members' blogs to see the birthday cards they have made!
And while you are making the rounds, be sure to make your way over to the Outlines blog to see who the big winners of last week's hop are!

Belli Challenge #115 - Easter/Bunnies and RI DCC Challenge - Happy Day!
Today I have another combination card for you! This week's Belli Challenge is Easter/Bunnies and our Designer's Choice challenge at Repeat Impressions is to make a Child's Birthday OR Happy Day card with embossing (dry or heat embossing). Obviously I opted for the Happy Day part of the challenge so I could use this adorable bunny image, which happens to also be this week's Stamp of the Week! Don't you just love the expression on its face?!
I used papers from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Boy collection. I added a little bunny button to my bow and my Nestabilities dies provided the embossing for my image and sentiment panels as well as the mat layers. The little flowers were colored using Viva Decor Pearl Pens and the bunny was colored using Copic markers.
Please make your way over to The House That Stamps Built to find out the rules for playing along on our Designer's Choice Challenge and to see the wonderful cards the rest of the design team made for the challenge!
Also be sure you check out today's post over on the Belli Challenge blog to see the rest of the design team's cards, to find out how you can play along with our Easter/Bunnies challenge and to read about the big changes we have going on over there!

Outlines Spring 2011 Blog Hop!
Outlines Spring 2011 Blog Hop!
Welcome to our very first blog hop! We are thrilled to be showing off some brand NEW stamps and designs today! This is a newly designed line of images named "Serendipity" and they just scream to be colored! The Design Team each picked a favorite image and we all are sharing something different. To celebrate this new release we are giving away two $25 Gift Certificates to the Outlines store!
For my card, I selected the Easter Birdies (I-1152) image because whenever I see a bird's nest with eggs, I think robin's egg blue, which is one of my favorite colors! Oh, this was a fun image to color!! I wanted to color the flowers in the image like the gorgeous pink dogwoods we have blooming all over our area right now. The October Afternoon background paper from the Ducks in a Row collection matched the flowers perfectly, although I have covered most of it up!
Here's how to win:
Please visit each blog and leave a comment for each designer.
Comments need to be completed by 8PM on Sunday, April 17th.
Two random winners will be selected from folks that left comments on all the blogs.
Winners will be announced on the Outlines Blog on Monday, April 18th.
Now…where and who to visit:

Outlines - Sparkle and Shine!
This week's challenge for the Outlines' Design Team is Sparkle and Shine, and we are featuring Swarovski Crystals and Picksey Pick-ups. I used Skylla Butterfly (C-886) and a bunch of Swarovski Crystals (Size 7 - clear, lt. Colorado Topaz, and lt. Rose; Size 12 - clear, lt. Colorado Topaz, Sapphire, and Siam; and Size 16 - Clear)! I used Picksey Pick-ups and Glossy Accents to adhere the crystals to the butterfly. For the largest crystals, I used a gold Pearl Pen as my adhesive and dropped the crystal into it. The butterfly was colored using Pebbles Chalks (Shimmers and Jewel Tones).
Picksey Pick-ups are small discs of beeswax that you wrap around the end of a toothpick and use to pick up the crystals by touching the beeswax tip of the toothpick to the top of the crystal. You can then easily place the crystal atop a drop of glue and the crystal will release onto the adhesive. They are a great, inexpensive tool and I highly recommend them if you haven't tried them!
Swarovski Crystals add sparkle like nothing else! They are such a great addition to a card - here is a close up to try to show the sparkle, but you really have to see them in person to appreciate it.
The backgroun paper is from DCWV's Mariposa 8x8 paper pad and the beautiful blue ribbon is from May Arts.
Please be sure to visit the rest of the design team members' blogs to see the sparkly, shiny cards they have made with Swarovski Crystals!
