Happy Easter!

I have three Easter cards for you today!  This first one is my attempt at a Clean and Simple card.  The bunny is stamped on an Inchie square and matted with a shimmery aqua paper and the pink patterned paper from Imaginisce.  The bottom section was dry embossed using a Spellbinder's Elegence M-Bossabilities folder.  The sentiment, button and twine are from Papertrey Ink.

The Fluffles the Cat Easter basket stamp on this card is from Stampendous and was colored and airbrushed using Copic markers.  The patterned papers are from Imaginisce and the mat layers are Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles and Labels Ten.

And last, but not least, is a Pure Innocence image from My Favorite Things' Basket of Eggs set.  The patterned papers are also from Imaginisce and the image was colored and airbrushed using Copic markers.  The mat layer was cut using a Spellbinder's Decorative Labels Eight die.  This card was made using this week's sketch from Raise the Bar (Challenge 137).

Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Easter!

Happy Birthday and Many Mower!

Today I have a card I made for the current sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things (MFTWSC66).  The image and sentiment are from the Who's That Guy I Love You Mower set.  The image was colored with Copic Markers and cut out.  I used a grass border punch on a strip of grass paper and nestled the mower in the blades.  The red pane was cut using MFT's Perfect Bracket Edge.

The patterned papers are from Pink Paislee's Hometown Summer collection.  The clouds were die cut out of My Favorite Felt Puff White.  Finished card size is 5 1/2" square.

Just So Sweet (MFTWSC65)

Good Monday morning!  I made a quick card yesterday to play along with this week's sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things (MFTWSC65).  I used Pure Innocence Fresh from the Oven set for my images and Melissa Frances Kitchen Kitchsy papers.

Her chef outfit and bowl were paper pieced and her body and shoes were colored with Copic markers.  I used a little silicone adhesive behind her toque to make it poof out a little at the top.

MFTWSC61 - One of a Kind

Hello! Today I have a card for this week's sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things (MFTWSC61).   I turned the sketch vertical and used the Pure Innocence Paper Dolls set.

The image was colored using Copic markers and paired with papers from Basic Grey's Blush collection.  For the inside, I used the Framed Greetings Die and Stamp set to create the sentiment panel and then added a sentiment from the More Essential Sentiments set.  I popped the sentiment up on a Spellbinders' Labels Eighteen panel.

Berry Sweet of You!

I have a cute little thank you card to show you today.  The main image is from My Favorite Things' Pure Innocence Berry Sweet set. It was colored using Copic markers and her dress was paper pieced.  The patterned papers are from October Afternoon's Fly a Kite collection and the mat layer was made using an Oval Decorative Doily die. The border strips on the horizontal layer were made using the Faux Crochet Border die.

For the inside, I created the sentiment combination using the Layered Label Die set with scraps of the patterned papers from the card front.  I paired it with a Spellbinder's Grommet Tags die and added a couple of red Swarovski crystals.  My card fits for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges C4C124 challenge, which is to use stripes and polka dots.  It also fits for this week's sketch challenge (MFTWSC60) over at My Favorite Things.

MFT Sketch Challenge - Baby Yourself

I had a chance to play along with this week's sketch challenge over at My Favorite Things and made a birthday card using the Pure Innocence Lather, Rinse Repeat set.  The image was colored using Copic markers.  I paper pieced the bathtub and the shower cap and used Polar Ice Flower Soft for the bubbles.  The rubber ducky is popped up on a small foam square.  The mat panel was cut out using the Oval Decorative Doily die.  The patterned papers are from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop and Ducks in a Row collections.

The Birthday Girl sentiment is from the Pure Innocence My Balloon set.  Both sentiments were stamped on card stock that was cut out using the Oval Tab die, but I cut off the ends on the Birthday Girl panel using scallop edge scissors to make it fit better. I cut the three scalloped layers on the right side using the Scalloped Scallop die and staggered them.

I repeated the scalloped layers on the inside and used the Happy Birthday image from More Essential Sentiments.    I also repeated the rubber ducky from the front and colored it using Copic markers.

MFT Sketch Challenge - Too Sweet

I decided to play along in this week's sketch challenge (MFTWSC44) over at My Favorite Things and made this card using Pure Innocence Lollipop Girl.  She was colored with Copic markers and her dress was paper pieced.  The image is matted using Oval Decorative Doily die and the horizontal strip was cut using Faux Crochet Border die.  The patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Two - Blush collection.

I added some Viva Glass Effect Gel - Crystal Clear to the lollipop and her barrette.  The bow was made with seam binding and I added a flower button, tied with pink twine. I drew a border around both stamped panels while they were still in the die and then colored the edge using a pink Copic marker.

MFTWSC41

I made this birthday card for a friend this week and based it on My Favorite Things' current sketch challenge (MFTWSC41).  I used stamps from the Pure Innocence Mud Buddies set and colored the image using Copic and Spica markers.  The trowel and pot in the image were replaced with metal charms and her outfit was paper pieced using papers from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Sunshine collection.  The other patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye Stella Rose Hattie collection and I added Swarovski crystals to the centers of the flowers for a little sparkle.

Hope you're having a great weekend!  Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Flopsey

I made this birthday card for a friend who loves rabbits and thought I'd take the opportunity to play in a couple of challenges!  I used Flopsey's Flowers, which I stamped on kraft paper and colored using watercolor pencils.  The sentiment tag is from the Notched Tags set and the big daisy was made using the Rolled Daisy die and then mounted on a Leafy Flourish die cut.  The smaller flowers have Swarovski Crystals in the center and the large daisy has a glittered brad for its center.  All of the stamps and dies are from My Favorite Things and the patterned paper is from The Paper Studio.

I am entering this in July's Sketch for you to Try and My Favorite Things Guest Designer contest, which is to include Touches of Texture.  The rolled daisy, leafy flourish, glittered brad and Swarovski Crystals are the items I included for texture!
