RI Sketch Challenge - Happy New Year!
Welcome! It's time for another Repeat Impressions sketch challenge! For my sample, I used the Champagne Bottle (3811-H) image and paired it with two strips of the Grapevine Border (1504-O) image. On the main image panel, I added a couple of punched wine glasses that I stamped using Random Stars (3417-C). For the bubbles from the glasses, I used Random Dots (3404-C).
The images were colored using Copic and Spica markers and the main image panel was cut and embossed using a Nestabilities Labels 16 die. The green mat layer was cut out using the same die, and then cut in half and spread apart to create the mat.
We would love for you to play along! Please be sure to head over to The House That Stamps Built to check out the sketch and to see what the rest of my design team buddies have created!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a Happy New Year!

RI SOTW - Making Snow Angels
Good Monday morning to you! I hope you had a Merry Christmas!
It's time to showcase another Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week and this week it's this fun Making Snow Angels (3310-H) image. This is an appropriate image for this week, since we had a white Christmas here in Atlanta for the first time since 1882 and Wendy and Bill, at Repeat Impressions headquarters in Maine, are being socked with a blizzard. Perfect snow angel weather!
I used some blue and white snowflake paper from my stash and colored the boy's clothes using Copic markers. I added some Polar White Flower Soft to the background of the image, used a snowflake border punch for the right edge of my mat layer and added Stickles Diamond glitter glue to the centers of all of the snowflakes. The sentiment was stamped using Versamark and Night of Navy and then embossed with clear embossing powder.
Please head over to The House that Stamps Built to find out the details for purchasing this great image for 50% off through next Sunday and to see the wonderful cards the other design team members have made using it!
This card was also made for the following challenges:
Pals Paper Arts - sketch
Stamptacular Sunday - Snow Much Fun
Flower Soft - FSC17- make a holiday card

CPS198 - Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!! Hope you are enjoying your holiday festivities!
I needed a few last minute Christmas cards, so I whipped this first one up using PTI's Stocking Prints images and die. The stocking patterned paper is Creative Imaginations Winter Woodland Stockings paper and the rust and Kraft stripe and polka dot papers are all from Canvas Corp. The mini clothespins are from Creative Impressions and were colored with a Copic Marker.
The layout for this first card is based on this week's sketch from Card Positioning Systems (CPS198). The sketch shows three elements, but I couldn't fit three stockings, so I went with two. They are a little higher than the ones on the sketch, but I wanted to 'hang' them with the ones on the patterned paper....creative license, I guess!
The second card uses another section of the same stocking paper, along with another section that I border punched for a mat. To stamp the stockings, I used Adirondack's Rust, Terra Cotta and Espresso inks and the sentiments were stamped with Versamark and Espresso and embossed with clear embossing powder.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!! Thanks for stopping by!

Belli Challenge #107 - Christmas and RI CASE Challenge - Maki
Happy Wednesday! It's time for another double challenge post - Creative Belli Challenge and Repeat Impressions! For the Belli Challenge, we are posting Christmas cards, which can include any Christmas embellishments or paper. All the stamps used on my card are from Repeat Impressions' Snow Globes and Ornaments collection.
For the Repeat Impressions challenge, we are casing (case = copy and share everything) this card from fellow design team member Makiko Jones. I also used snowflake images from the same set (8917-I, Snowflake Outline (lg and sm), and 8914-E, Snowflake Solid (sm)), dark borders and layout, but changed out the color scheme and used some Memory Box crystal snowflakes that I colored blue with a Copic marker instead of the pearls Maki used.
Please join us for both challenges! If you would like to link up a Christmas card for the Belli Challenge, please go to today's post, view the gorgeous Christmas cards my fellow Belli girls have posted and link up your card.
If you would like to CASE Maki's card and play along with our challenge over at Repeat Impressions, please go to The House That Stamps Built, check all the wonderful cards the design team created based on Maki's card, and link up your project!
Enjoy the rest of your week! Thanks for stopping by!

Holly Birthday Wishes
Greetings! Believe it or not, I'm still in the throes of MAKING Christmas cards....on the 21st of December...can you say LATE?? One of these years I'm going to figure it out...
My friend Holly had a birthday last week and this is the card I sent to her. Unfortunately, it just arrived yesterday! I've had this Making Memories Holly Leaf Foil paper for a while and was happy to finally cut into it! As you can see, I took the holly theme and ran with it! The stamps are all Papertrey Ink (2010 Holiday Tags and Mixed Messages), as is the holly impression plate I used for the background layer. The twill is from Stampin' UP!
Back to my Christmas card making! Thanks for stopping by!

RI Sketch Challenge - Penguins
It's time for another sketch challenge from Repeat Impressions! For my card, I had to break out the Penguin Trio (8806-N) again! They are such fun to work with - I love these little guys! I paper pieced their hats and used Liquid Pearls for the furry parts. Their beaks and feet were colored with a gold Spica pen and covered with Glossy Accents. I added some red rhinestones in the corners and a clear one in the center of the snowflake in the sentiment. The patterned papers are from Kaisercraft's Belle paper pad.
If you would like to play along for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from Repeat Impressions, head over to The House that Stamps Built for the sketch and the rules for playing along. While you're there, be sure to check all the wonderful samples from the rest of the design team!

RI SOTW - Maranda's New Bathing Suit
While Wendy, our fearless leader, is away enjoying the beach in Aruba, she is torturing the rest of us by making this cute little image of Maranda's New Bathing Suit (#2425-K) our Stamp of the Week this week! LOL! It's not nice to gloat, Wendy...it's 21 degrees here in Atlanta and we had snow flurries yesterday. Since Wendy and Bill work their tails off all year long running Repeat Impressions from Maine, where it's even colder, I guess we can forgive them even if we are jealous! Oh how I would love to be with you right now, Wendy! Kiss a fish for me!
But I digress...for my card, I used some sand and wave papers to create a little beach for Maranda to show off her cute little suit. The clouds were cut out of felt and her suit was colored using Copic markers. The Life's a Beach (#2407-G) sentiment is also from Repeat Impressions.
Please head over to the House That Stamps Built to find out the story behind this sweet little image. While you're there, be sure to check out the rest of the great summery cards the rest of my design teammates created using this cute image and to get the details on ordering it for half off until the 19th.
Have a great week! Thanks for stopping by!

The card that Michele created for us to CASE is this one. I used the same layout and stamp (8913-I, Wreath).
Please be sure to check out the Belli Challenge to see the great Christmas-themed cards made by my fellow Belli girls and to find out how you can play along. Also be sure to check out the great cards my fellow Repeat Impressions team members made based on Michele's card and to find out how you can play along over there, too!

The gold Christmas tree borders are May Arts ribbon and I added a crystal snowflake sticker on top of the button in the center of my bow. The patterned papers are from BasicGrey's Eskimo Kisses line.

RI Sketch Challenge Merry Christmas Wishes
Hi there, happy Wednesday! It's time for another Repeat Impressions sketch challenge card! I used this cute teddy bear image (2007-I, Christmas Teddy) again - love him! This time I colored him with Copic markers and blotted him with a terrycloth towel and blending solution. The backgrounds of both stamped panels are airbrushed and the fur on his hat is ivory Flower Soft. The papers are from Making Memories, as are the three brads.
This is a really versatile sketch - if you'd like to play along and make a card using it, please head over to The House That Stamps Built to get the sketch and find out how to participate!

RI SOTW - Joy
Sorry I've been so quiet here. I made an unscheduled trip home to my mother's last Tuesday to help her out while her husband was in the hospital after having some surgery. He was able to come home on Thanksgiving, so that was nice! Unfortunately, it meant no traditional Thanksgiving feast this year, but we did have a killer chicken tetrazzini casserole that one of her friends had brought by!
OK, on to business - it's time for another Stamp of the Week from Repeat Impressions! This week's special deal is on this Joy to the World image (2108-H JOY). I'm afraid I couldn't get my photo focused properly because the felt rose sticks out so far. The image was stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder and then I colored the world with Copic markers. The gold Christmas tree in the center of the flower is May Arts ribbon and was mounted using a base of silicone glue and then a button to fill in the center of the flower. The patterned paper is Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses.
Please head over to The House That Stamps Built for the details on getting this great stamp for half price between now and December 5th, and to see the wonderful cards the rest of the design team made!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

RI Sketch Challenge - Santa's Friend
Welcome to this week's Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge! For my card, I used this wonderful Santas's Friend (#2019-I) image. I colored the bird to look like a robin...;-) Santa's coat, hat and bag are paper pieced and the trim is Liquid Applique. The background paper is from The Paper Studio. For the corner elements in the sketch, I stamped the Holly Sprig (#307-D) image twice, cut them out, colored them using Copic markers and then covered them with Glossy Accents.
We'd love to have you play along! Head over to The House That Stamps Built to see the sketch, find out how to participate and to see the great cards the rest of the team created!

RI SOTW - Mitten
Good Monday morning! It's time for a new Stamp of the Week from Repeat Impressions. This week our special stamp is this warm, cozy Mitten (3806D). I recently picked up these Martha Stewart fringing scissors and decided to copy an idea I saw in Paper Crafts magazine to make this tree. I added the mittens (tied together with some red and white baker's twine), a few red rhinestones and a big bow - easy, peasy! The tree trunk is made from wood grain paper. The sentiment is Merry Christmas Wishes (8915D) from the Snow Globes and Ornaments series.
This stamp is available at 50% off from November 15 - 21, so head on over to The House That Stamps Built for the details on ordering and to see the other great cards the design team made using this image!
Have a great week and be sure to visit again on Wednesday for another sketch challenge!

Belli Challenge #104 meets Repeat Impressions CASE Challenge!
Greetings! Today's post is a double challenge post! First up it's a Belli Challenge, the theme of which is: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue, but not necessarily a wedding card. Here's how my card fits the challenge:
Something old - the seam binding ribbon
Something new - the Webster's Pages paper and netting (my birthday gift from my sweet Krafty Kat friends)
Something borrowed - the card layout and theme (that's the Repeat Impressions CASE Challenge part!)
Something blue - the card base, punched border and Santa's little bird friend
For the Repeat Impressions Challenge, we are to CASE (which stands for Copy And Share Everything OR Copy And Selectively Edit) this beautiful card from my fellow Belli Challenge and Repeat Impressions design team member, Darsie Bruno. She says it took her 30 minutes to make this card....do you believe her? I don't...it took me thirty minutes just to discern all the details! LOL! At any rate, I copied the basic layout, although I flipped the main panel and the bow. I also used the same image, which is this week's Stamp of the Week over at The House That Stamps Built. I love the vintage feel of this Santa image.
I paper pieced Santa's outfit and used Liquid Applique for the trim. I used several small pieces of gold netting, layering it under and on top of my bow, along with a button and some twine.
Please head over to the Belli Challenge blog for details on how to play along with that challenge and to see the other Belli girls' cards and then head over to the Repeat Impressions blog for the details on our CASE challenge and to see the great cards my other design team members made! For this challenge the winner will receive an unmounted sheet of RI's 2000 series of winter and Christmas theme rubber stamps… a total of 20 stamps!
Finally, just a reminder that the Creative Belli Challenge is holding a Design Team call. If you're interested in becoming a Belli girl (or guy??), check out the details in this post on the Belli Challenge blog. The call is open until December 15th.

RI Sketch Challenge
It's time for another Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge! I used this Jump for Joy bunny image (2610-J) and the sentiment is from the Quartet Complements set. The patterned papers are scraps from my stash and I don't know whose they are. I added a flower bead with a tiny yellow button to my bow and the sentiment was cut out using a Stampin' Up label punch. Pretty simple!
Please head over to the Repeat Impressions blog for the sketch and to enter your card for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate!
Also, if you're interested in joining the Creative Belli Design Team, please check out the details of the design team call over on the Belli blog.

RI SOTW - Christmas Teddy
Happy Monday - it's time for another Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week! This week's stamp is this adorable Christmas Teddy (2007-I) image. This week only you can have this cute little fella for 50% off - head over to The House That Stamps Built to find out how!
I colored Teddy with Copic markers, and then I took a terrycloth towel with Colorless Blender and dabbed it on his fur to make it look more vintage-y to go with my papers. I paper pieced the hat and scarf and for the fringe, I used some kitchen twine that I colored with a dark purple Copic marker. I added a little Liquid Applique for the trim on the hat.
The patterned papers are Kaisercraft's Dear Santa collection and I used this week's Crazy 4 Challenges (C4C61) sketch for my layout. And you might think that's a button on my bow, but it's a brad I made using Stampin' UP!'s Build-A-Brad and scraps from my background patterned papers. Finally, the self adhesive pearls in the upper right corner were colored with the same Copic marker I used on the scarf fringe.
Be sure to head over to The House That Stamps Built to see the great cards the rest of the team has created with this week's Stamp of the Week!

Belli Challenge #103 - Flocking or Flower Soft
Welcome to another Belli Challenge! This week's challenge is to use Flower Soft or Flocking on your project. I needed a wedding card for Tim's niece's wedding this past weekend so I used Flourishes Let Them Eat Cake set and topped my cake layers with Flower Soft!
The inspiration for my card came from the wedding invitation. I tried to recreate the layout using leaf images from Flourishes Fine Herbs and Birds and Vines sets. I used Adirondack Cranberry and Butterscotch die inks for all of the images on the card base and the envelope and then used Versamark and Powder Keg Renaissance and Gold Detail Fine Embossing Powder for the cake and its stand.
I used watercolor paper for my card base and the image panel and used a burgundy marker to draw the frame around the inside of the Nestabilities die for my main panel, which is popped up on foam tape. The ribbon was ivory silk that I colored with a Copic marker to match the rest of the card.
For the inside, I used a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Big and Bold Wishes set. The back of the envelope was covered with more images from the Birds and Vines set.
If you would like to play along with our Flocking/Flower Soft challenge, please head over to the Creative Belli blog for details and to see the great cards the rest of the design team has made!

Happy Birthday!
It's a dreary, rainy Monday here in Atlanta, which seems fitting since it's my 50th birthday AND we have a water leak in our house that was running from the first floor into the basement right over the bar in our home theater room. We had to turn the water to the whole house off last night and we have a plumber coming later this morning. Ugghhh...not such a happy birthday so far!
On a happier note, this adorable little Pure Innocence girl made her way down to my friend Silke's to wish her a happy birthday last Wednesday! The patterned papers are from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop collection and BasicGrey's Lemonade 6x6 pad. Her dress and the present are paper pieced and in Silke's honor, I added a couple of silver pearls for the buttons on her dress.
For the inside, I used some more of the Thrift Shop papers and a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Birthday Basics set. The buttons on the inside were made using a button die from My Favorite Things and were attached to a scrap of the gingham ribbon and tied with some twine.
That's about it. Hope your week is getting off to a better start than mine! Be sure to come back on Wednesday for another Belli Challenge!

RI Sketch Challenge
Happy Wednesday - hope your week is going better than mine. I have had a sore throat since Sunday and think I am coming down with a cold ;-( I've got way too much going on this week to be sick. On a happier note, it's time for a Repeat Impresssions sketch challenge!
For my card, I used two of the snowflake images from the Snow Globes and Ornaments set. I stamped them with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then stacked the smaller one on top of the larger one and secured it with that beautiful K & Company brad. I added Stickles to the endpoints of both snowflakes.
My papers are from Memory Box's Misteltoe collection and the ribbon is some beautiful May Arts silk ribbon I picked up this weekend. If you would like to play along with our sketch challenge, just make a project using the sketch to the right and upload it to today's post over at The House That Stamps Built. You could win a $25 gift certificate at Repeat Impressions!

RI SOTW - Round Pumpkin
Welcome to another Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week! This week's special stamp is Round Pumpkin (#2318-G). I added the Happy face (#2328-G) to mine and created a little pumpkin scene using Tall Pumpkin (#2310-G). Wendy has a series of pumpkin shapes and faces that you can mix and match to create your own Jack O'lantern - very fun! All of the tall pumpkins were paper pieced using papers from Memory Box's Blackbird collection. I colored the Round Pumpkin image using Copic markers and used a yellow Spica pen to color in the face. It's popped up on dimensional tape.
I cut up a few strands of raffia to make the hay 'bed' they are sitting in and also wrapped raffia around the patterned paper layers. I used a Martha Stewart button punch to create the three buttons out of the same papers I used for the pumpkins. They were all tied with raffia. My card is based on this week's Sketch for you to try.
Please head over to the Repeat Impressions blog to get all the details on getting this versatile pumpkin image at half price. While you're there, be sure to check out the cards the rest of the design team has made!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Belli Challenge #102 - Pumpkins and Sketch!
Welcome to a new Belli Challenge! This week's challenge is to make a card with pumpkins. We also have an optional sketch for you to use if you would like:
For my card, I chose this adorable pumpkin kitty from There She Goes' Cattitude set. I love the expression on this kitty's face! I paper pieced the pumpkin body and colored the rest with Copic markers. I created the bow around her neck using black twine, popped her up on foam squares and adhered her to a panel that was stamped using one of the images from Gina K. Designs Lovely Labels 2 set. The sentiment is from There She Goes' Hauntingly Delightful set.
The main background paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Matilda collection and the diagonal and horizontal strips are from Reminisce (Esmerelda Stripe, Midnight Stripe and Jack Stripe). The sentiment panel is anchored with a glittery pumpkin brad from Making Memories and a button that I tied using a small piece of raffia. I think that covers it!
Head on over to the Creative Belli blog to find out more about the challenge and to see the wonderful pumpkin creations the rest of the team has created! Enjoy the rest of your week!
