It's time for a new challenge over at the Outlines blog! This week's challenge is Beautiful Borders. I used the Flower Strip image for the border on the right side of my card. It was colored with Copic markers and I added a little dimension to the flowers by adding some dots of Viva Decor Pearl Pens (Sunny Yellow, Red, Lt. Green).
For the focal panel, I used Pointed Posy Med. (E-1043) and Pointed Posy Sm.(D-1044), Posy Greeting Center (F-1049), Stem (B-385) and Black Dot Vase (C-375). The Posies were colored using Viva Decor Paper Soft (Dark Sand), as were the edges of the Flower Strip panel, and more Viva Decor Pearl Pens (Copper, Salmon) were used to add dots around the greeting and in the Posy center.
The patterned papers are all from Jillibean Soup's Blossom Soup paper collection. I used two different border punches on the green and red horizontal layers to add to the Beautiful Borders theme.
Please be sure to look up the details for playing along with this week's challenge over at the Outlines blog and also check out the great cards the rest of the team has made:
Jeanne Streiff - Inky Paws
Jenny Gropp - One Krafty Kat

I love how the Flower Strip seamlessly tucks into your pretty paper, as though it was meant to be together! Lovely!
That is ADORABLE! The queen is pleased.

Every thing just goes so well together. That stamped border could easily pass for patterned paper. Love all of your pearl dots. So cohesive.
Wow, you win for most stamps and store embellishments used, lol. This is just so stinking cute! Perfect choice of papers to go along with the fab Flower strip border and your flowers are too cute (eek, I missed the stem stamp, lol) Hugs
This border stamp was meant for this DP! Love how you managed to showcase so many lovely Outlines images in your card! Pretty!
Well, since the queen approves...
