My Nonexistent Stamping Life

This card is a perfect example of how sad my stamping life has become - I started it 10 days ago and just finished it this morning.  Work has been incredibly busy and we have had other obligations over the weekends lately so I just haven't had any time.

I intended to enter it in three different challenges, all of which have now closed - CTD188 (color challenge), PPA133 (sketch) and C4C133 (make it pop with black card stock).  Oh well, I will still be able to use it for its primary purpose, which is a thank you note to a good friend.

It qualifies for this week's challenge over at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C134), which calls for paper piecing.  My owl is paper pieced and its wings are popped up on foam squares.

The stamps I used are from There She Goes You're a Hoot set and Impression Obsession Owl Be Thankful set (sentiment).  The patterned papers are from BasicGrey's Green at Heart collection.

Thanks for stopping by!

Robin, I know all about a "nonexistent stamping life" for myself. My life has been that way too. Your card is so cute. Love the paper piecing. Hopefully both of us can regain our stamping lives. :)

Lol! Obligations suck! Hope things calm down for you. De-stress with stamping! Cute little owl card!
