Thanks so much!

Greetings from Hotlanta, where it's a whopping 16 degrees and we have lots of ice. We only got about a half inch of snow, but the ice is the problem. There was a 29 car pileup near the airport this morning. We are hunkered down at home and not planning to get out in it today.

Here's a quick shot looking up our driveway. I know it's not much compared to the rest of the country, but it's pretty unusual for us. There are several patches of black ice on it, so no driving out for us.

Anyway, about the card! This is another one I made using the Caardvarks sketch from last week. It is also another qualifier for the Crazy 4 Challenges Polka Dot challenge and also for Sharon's Stamp Simply SSNOTIME120 challenge to use something new.

The image is from PTI's Everyday Button Bits set (I can't get enough of that set!!), and the sentiment is from their Mega Mixed Messages set. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket Hey Sugar and BoBunny's Back to Basics collection. I used my new Martha Stewart Floral Vine border punch on a scrap of vellum and added a few rhinestones to the centers of its flowers and to the wood flourish.

That's about it! Thanks for looking, have a great weekend and stay warm!

Love the pic with the snow/ice! It is cold here, but at least we don't have that ice to wreak havoc with the traffic.

Your card is beautiful! Love that button bits set, and you did a gorgeous job pairing it with these yummy papers, ribbon, border punch, and the wood flourish. Love the little green pearls on the wood and the vellum!

Wow, Robin. This is beautiful. I love your choice of papers, they are perfect for that image and the buttons really make the card. How clever to punch the border out of vellum, it looks fabulous. What a wonderful card. Hey we got 1/2 a foot of snow, first real snowfall. I am heading out to fire up the snow blower and play! It is 19 degrees up here. Stay safe and warm.

Now about your picture...WOW!! Number one, it looks like you have some gorgeous property there with that winding driveway...what a neat scrapbook-photo! Wish we could drive up and see that, my daughter is 19 and has never seen snow!

Stay warm and have a great weekend!

Yep, it's freezing in Hotlanta, lol! We had some snow, ice and temps never got above freezing. The birds in my backyard are ice skating on the bird bath, lol. Stay warm, Robin! Happy New Year!

I LOVE that Everyday Button set...it's so adorable. Love your colors, too.

Your driveway is SOOO long. Wow, you sit way back in the woods (love that!). LOL at *hot-lanta*..too funny. We WERE having 16-degree temps. Wanna know what the temp is this a.m.?....SIX...6 degrees...yikes, that's COLD!

Hey Robin. Even though we had the threat of snow, we didn't get any and we're only 4 hours away - I'm so jealous :) I love this card - the buttons are perfect.

Hope all is well.

Wow, gorgeous! Love that you used the Caardvarks sketch. I thought it was a tough sketch but you make it look so easy. Love the dies you used too! And of course the PTI stamp set. Those button bit sets are brilliant. Are you excited about the new baby bits on the way???? I sure am!

Well I hope it has warmed up a little since the 8th! Good idea to just stay off the roads if possible. I try to hunker down EVERY weekend, teehee, cold weather or not, I'm just a home body! Gorgeous card Robin.
