I have to confess that I got lucky with this card. I had just noted that the challenge was to make a Father's Day card - completely missed the texture part....Luckily, I had decided to pull out my houndstooth embossing folder for the panel on the right side of the card - just because I always forget to use my embossing folders! I used my brayer to add some Versafine Vintage Sepia ink to the raised portions the houndstooth pattern so it would stand out a bit more.

I love it when a card "works" for a challenge. This is fabulous. I love the hounds tooth. It gives it great texture. Super job..
What a great masculine card, Robin. I love the colors, the papers, and the texture:)

Perfect combination of masculine elements and colors. How lucky that you used then embossing folder for texture!
