Greetings! We have a new sketch challenge starting today over at The House That Stamps Built. I flipped the sketch upside down because I wanted to make sure the fish in my patterned paper were visible since my mat colors are based on them! I colored the four images with Copic markers and then sponged the edges with Broken China Distress Ink while they were still in the die. The sentiment was stamped using Versamark and Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink and embossed using clear embossing powder.
Here are the Repeat Impressions stamps used:
2412-E, Small Tropical Fish
4102-D, Sea Horse (sm)
4105-E, Sea Turtle (sm)
2418-E, Scallop Shell
8606-E, Happy Birthday
Please head over to The House That Stamps Built for the sketch and to see the rules for participating in the challenge (there's a $25 gift certificate for the Repeat Impressions store up for grabs!). While you're there, be sure to check out the samples from the rest of our wonderful design team!
My card fits the theme for the current challenge over at Jay Gee's Nook - check out the fabulous inspiration photo for Challenge 9 - it's right up my alley!
Thanks for stopping by!
