Outlines - Inspiration Photo

Hello, it's time for another challenge over at Outlines and this week's challenge is a photo challenge.  Put your sunglasses on!  I felt compelled to include the inspiration photo so you would understand why I chose the somewhat garish colors I used on my card!  Definitely not my normal color palette!

When I saw the wallpaper in the room in the photo, I immediately thought of this paper from SEI's Corinne collection.  I selected the Wishing You (E-575) square stamp to mimic the shape of the bookshelf and chest and used some of the colors from the photo to color its border with colored pencils.  The orange door knobs in the photo were the inspiration for the orange dots in the corners and the flower petals, which I colored using an orange Spica glitter pen.  The flower centers were filled in with a Sunny Yellow Viva Decor Pearl Pen.

Please be sure to look up the details for playing along with this week's challenge over at the Outlines blog and also check out the great cards the rest of the team has made:

Jeanne Streiff - Inky Paws
Jenny Gropp - One Krafty Kat
Kecia Waters - Stamping Deets
Lisa Silver - Silver Stamping
Sue Kment - Sue's Stamping Stuff

Thanks for stopping by!

Your card is very in tune with the inspiration pic! Nice job with the sentiment and the rainbow paper they pair up nicely!

I'm liking the lines of the patterned paper, along with the line of the ribbon. Kinda fun composition.

Nicely done!
